Radical Islamists are arguably the greatest source of international instability in the 21st century. Despite that, the world has resisted productive discussion that would lead to their defeat. Instead, people sit at the extremes, claiming either that all Muslims are jihadis and enemies; or refusing even to discuss any link between Islam and terror. Both positions are overly simplistic; and both positions are wrong. What is Moderate Islam gives us insights to get away from those extremes, and the shrillness that often accompanies them.
